Haven Crest Hotel - Whitby

Room was cozy with brand new carpeting. The location was perfect for seaside strolls.

Hosts Chris and Fay provided a warm welcome with helpful local tips. Traffic noise was sometimes noticeable .

Everything was excellent, very good service, UNBEATABLE location just off sea, so, and a nice pub serving food with excellent views. Hotel's meals were brilliant, and we found The Met Lounge Bar in the area.

Enjoyed my time there.

The staff was accommodating and the owner too.

A good coastal escape

The hosts, Chris and Fay, were friendly and happy to share local tips. The breakfast included an assortment of choices, and the view of the sea from our room was fine.

Our breakfast was fantastic and lovely for other tastes. We enjoyed rooms with a view. The location was good and stunning there, near sands. Had brunch in the The Met Lounge Bar, located nearby.

I was welcomed by warm, friendly hosts Chris and Fay. The Beautiful Double Room with Sea View was immaculate, offering fine vistas that elevated my stay. Breakfast each morning was a homemade delight, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients that started my days off perfectly.

Fine sea views, free off-street parking, proximity to coastal walking trails

Shower pressure could be improved!!! Bathrooms felt cramped!!! Lack of personal seating in rooms left me uncomfortable!!! Wi-Fi access only in the lobby was inconvenient!!! Noise from sliding bathroom doors might disturb!!!

A warm welcome greets you from the hosts, Chris and Fay! Super clean rooms and fantastic homemade breakfast await. You're just minutes from the beach, offering fine views and perfect walks. It's a serene location that guarantees restful nights. A true gem worth visiting again!

The ground floor room was impressively clean and well-equipped. Breakfast options were delicious and offered a great variety, served promptly by a friendly staff member. Although the parking was convenient, the path to the main town could have used better signage for clarity. The decor might benefit from a refresh to match the standard of cleanliness and service.

Great sea view, free parking, but Wi-Fi only in the lobby was annoying.

The location was perfect for coastal walks and exploring. We spent time at the rock pools, crabbing, and enjoyed amazing views. The breakfast was made to order and really hit the spot. A friendly pub across the street made it convenient after a long day out.

The bed was a bit hard for my personal taste, but I know that's just a personal preference.

We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home thanks to the cozy atmosphere. The cliff-top walks and beautiful sea views were just perfect for relaxation after enjoying a delicious made-to-order breakfast. The only small hiccup was some traffic noise at times, but it didn't spoil our stay at all. Highly recommend giving it a go! 😊

The room is spotlessly clean and modern with scenic views of the sea. The hotel is in a good location, next door to Sandsend beach and Whitby town.

The building and rooms were extremely clean. The breakfast had a view.- The central heating, iron and ironing board, and coffee and tea making facilities were clean.- The service was exceptional during my stay.
